U RUKAMA MOG DEDE

Sećam se...
U rukama mog dede
Svetli skinuti
Sjaj sa pluga.
On hita
Ka sunčanim daljinama
Gde neumorno
Seje i žanje
Hleb naš nasušni.
Sad ostareo i krezub
Kraj ognjišta
Melje unucima nežnosti.

Grandfather’s Hands

I remember…
in the hands of my grandfather
a gleam taken from the plough
radiated. He hurried
toward the sunny distance
where tirelessly
he sewed and reaped
our daily bread.
Now old and toothless
beside the hearth
he grinds tenderness
to his grandchildren.

VIDICI

Vidici govore
O bogatstvu i siromaštvu
Našeg prisustva.

Horizons

Horizons speak
About wealth and poverty
Of our presence.

U ZAGONETKAMA

U zagonetkama svet
Otkriva
Duže i kraće
Svetlije i tamnije
Strane
Svog postojanja.

In Riddles

In riddles the world
Discovers
Longer and shorter sides
Of its existence.

NETAČNO VREME

Iznad svoga kruga
Krenule kazaljke
Vreme da prestignu.

Incorrect Time

Above their circle
The hands started
To over-run the time.
